Kirarin Revolution Review

I honestly didn't really know what I would review or post about for this month but I'm going to review an anime I recently finished called Kirarin Revolution. Kirarin Revolution was originally a manga adapted into a 153 episode anime series. It has the themes of drama, romantic comedy, and music. While it's kind of a good anime, it's not the best and not much character development or story development happens which is kind of ridiculous considering this anime has 153 episodes.

Summary
Kirari Tsukishima is a food obsessed 14 year old. One day she saves a turtle and meets its owner Seiji, a handsome popular idol and he gives her a ticked to SHIPS (a popular idol group) concert out of gratitude. Kirari goes to the concert but runs into another boy, Hiroto, who tears up her ticket and warns her to stay away from Seiji. Kirari then sneaks into the concert and discovers Seiji and Hiroto are members of SHIPS. Kirari refuses to give up and declares she will become an idol.

My Thoughts
While this anime was good I think there are quite a few things it could improve on. Not much story development or character development really happened, which is ridiculous considering this anime is 153 episodes long. I hear there is much more character development in the manga which I will consider reading and like most manga the story goes further than in the anime. It was a cute series to watch and if you love music and idols I recommend this anime for you.

Conclusion
I would give this anime 4/5 stars or an 8/10 score. While it's a good anime and is quite enjoyable, not much character or story development happens in 153 episodes. Still it is a pretty enjoyable anime and has its moments. If you're a fan of idol anime or music, I recommend this to you. Full Moon so Sagashite (Searching for the Full Moon) is another similar idol, music, romance anime that i plan on watching. However this one goes much deeper gets very emotional too. Later I will be reviewing a similar magical girl series, Mermaid Melody.
