My Story: New York The Big Apple

So here will be my August post and now our characters will be going to New York City also known as The Big Apple but it seems someone as been following them there.

Opening

As they arrive Takeshi, Taro, and Nina are amazed by what they see while Angel who's been there before explains to them in detail te sights and sound.

Summary

Takeshi sees a several designs in several areas around the city. He asks Angel wondering why they are there and designed by that. Angel explains it's to deter homeless people from using those places to rest. She says she doesn't think the city should be spending money on the hostile arcitecture but on trying to solve the root cause of the homeless problem.

Meanwhile Taro and Nina decide to get some alone time in Central Park. Little did they know they were being stalked by a group of Imposters. The Imposters disguised as Takeshi and Angel lure them towards the woods but then Taro realizes that the Imposters disguised as Takeshi is not his brother. A fight then ensues. Takeshi and Angel come in just in time to fend them off. However, they are aware that the demons may have followed them and some Americans are suspicious of them as they are Obakes.

Later that night Takeshi and Angel, and Taro and Nina look out at the statue of liberty. There they get to spend some romantic moments together.

Ending

Takeshi finds out something is going on in the Amazon and wants to check it out. The other's agree to go with him and explore the rainforest.

Overview

So I haven't really had much time to write these so they've just been short simple stories. But I will still keep trying to post so stay tuned.

My Story: North America

 So I didn't post last June (due to being busy) so I'll make this count for June and July. Following their visit to Hawaii Angel's friends will now meet her parents and family.

Opening

The gang are on a plan ready to meet Angel's family in California. Angel says she's looking forward to seeing her family having Takeshi, Taro, and Nina meet them.

Summary

They land at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where Angel is warmly greeted by her family. She then introduces them to her friends and her younger brother and sister ask which one is her new boyfriend. Angel then tells them Takeshi is her boyfriend. Takeshi nervously greets Angel's parent and younger siblings.

The group stay the night at Angel's house while they and Angel's family get to know each other. Takeshi and Angel's parents also become more comfortable around each other and are happy Angel had found someone like him. They tour Angel's hometown and meet up with her old friends. The next day Angel and her family take the rest to an amusement park when they said they've never gone to one before mainly since they didn't have enough money. Everyone has fun that day.

Ending

Angel says her family is planning a trip to New York known as the Big Apple next. They look forward to their next trip.

Overview

So another filler episode. I've had less time to work on My Story but I will try to keep posting.

My Story: Hawaii

So more from My Story and here we have the gang venturing outside Japan into the Western world and will get to meet Angel's family.

Opening

Angel plans a trip to visit her family in the Americas as well as explore some other parts of the New World. She decides to invite the others as she wants to show them and share the experience with them.

Summary

During class Angel shares about her experience growing up in America and some of the trips she's done. She tells Takeshi that she wants to bring them to her home country and stop in Hawaii on their way there. While the others cannot afford plane tickets, Angel's parents pay for their flights so they can meet her new friends and 'boyfriend'. Nina manages to sneak Sova on board.

While they stop in Hawaii Taro reads about Mount Kileuea and it's frequent erruptions, he learns that there is meaning behind it's erruptions similar to Mount Fuji in Japan. Angel says she could try to get a better view with her and Sova's flight abilites. Seeing the lava rise they all realize it must be a sign of what is to come.

A Volcano warning is heard and the gang go to get out of its path. Unbeknownst to them, Japan's leader Yakunan Mingu has sent a spy plane their way suspicious of their activity. Images are taken of them near Kileuea and sent back.

Ending

Angel is on the phone with her parents and who, along with her two younger siblings look forward to meeting her new friends. Takeshi is somewhat nervous but Angel says he shouldn't worry as her parents didn't have a problem with her previous boyfriends.

Overview

So another chapter/episode and while this is kind of filler we will see how Angel's parents feel about Takeshi. I will try to post next month but life's been pretty hectic for me.

My Story: Clown Scare

So I didn't post last March so I'll make this post count for March and April. Life for me has been very hectic and I've been real busy but will try to continue to post. Here we will relive something that happened in 2016 the clown scares. I also was in one of the towns where clowns were spotted.

Opening

The gang hear recent reports of creepy clowns wandering around town. They decide to go out and investigate.

Summary

At school the group overhear about clown sightings around Japan. This promps them along with Masami to check it out and they form a plan.

One night they sneak out, Taro and Nina are suspicious but Angel thinks the clowns are just pranksters dressed up trying to scare people. The first clown they come across and unmask is one of their classmates just attempting to scare people. Together they spot another clown. After unmasking him they find it to be the school bully attempting to scare people.

Finally, the find another clown but are unable to unmask him and they chase after him. He runs into the woods never to be seen again.

Ending

Takeshi and Taro return home to be scolded by their mother as she didn't know where they were. Angel, Nina, and Masami also get scolded by their parents as well. The gang suspect that Kyofusho may have had a part in the clown scares.

Overview

So I just had to do a short story. A lot is happening in my life so I've had less time to work on my blog but will try to post as much as I can.

2026 Valentines Day Post.

It's around that special time of year again. Well it's a good day for couples but not for me, Valentines Day (V-Day)! Making this took longer than I thought so I know Valentines Day has already but I'll make a late post. So as usual I will post my lists of couples: worst, average, best, underrated, should've been couples, and couples from My Story. If you want to ship these couples from My Story, feel free to and I guarantee you they will be unsinkable (mostly). They must be the exact opposite of Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey, the greatest love story ever. Leave feedback if you want but CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY! I entitled to my opinion and you're entitled to yours too. I may reveal some endings so...

What makes a good couple

If you've read my past Valentines Day posts you probably already know what I expect out of a good couple. I will explain again if you haven't. It's about the chemistry between a couple and how good they are together and how lovable they are as a couple. What also matters is how much two people truly care about each other and if they'll go to the ends of the earth for one another. I usually prefer couples around the same age plus or minus a few years. I used to be attracted to girls my age but now I prefer slightly older women (NOT COUGARS!). It's cool and a guy becomes the talk of the town for scoring with an older girl. I like slightly older girl and slightly younger boy couples too. This is just a short summary and there's a lot more to romance.

Worst Couples (Let's get the worst outta the way first)

These are possibly some of the worst love stories but based on my previous V-Day posts you can probably guess who it will be.

Ana Steele + Christian Grey (50 Shades of Grey)-The only love story that could give Twilight a run for its money for worst lovestory.

Edward Cullen + Bella Swan (Twilight)-Every year I go over this couple and how terrible their love story is and everyone knows it.

Kirino Kousaka + Kyosuke Kasuga (Oreimo)-I'll put it simply, these two are blood-related brother and sister.

Best Couples/Most Popular Couples

Sakura Kinomoto + Syaoran Li (Cardcaptor Sakura)(Clear Card)- These two are a very popular couple and no one would forgive me if I made an anime couples list and not included these two. I haven't met anyone who has hated this couple. At first the two started off rivals but became friends. Then Syaoran started to have feelings for Sakura but Sakura didn't notice. Syaoran eventually confesses and in the Final Movie, The Sealed Card, Sakura returns his confession declaring she loves him too. Now these two are probably the most adorable couple together. Sakura's cute, Syaoran's cute (according to fangirls) and together they're even cuter.

Sakura + Syaoran (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles)- Obviously I can't include CCS without also having these two. Sakura and Syaoran have known each other for a long time until Sakura loses her memories off Syaoran, and Syaoran must go on a quest to find them. Over the journey though Sakura seems to just fall in love with Syaoran all over again and they show how much they truly care for one another. The series itself shows how far Syaoran will go to help Sakura.

Inuyasha + Kagome Higurashi (Inuyasha)- No one would forgive me if I didn't include these two. Inuyasha and Kagome have mixed reviews and but a majority of people like them as a couple. Like many cliches they don't get along at first but of course things change. Inuyasha shows more sympathy and Kagome starts to care for Inuyasha. The two eventually start to through the hardships in their lives and every obstacle only makes them stronger.

Usagi Tsukino + Mamoru Chiba (Sailor Moon) (Crystal)- I know I keep saying this but no one will forgive if I don't include them. Sailor Moon was probably the most popular magical girl anime. While they initially don't like each other they begin to come to terms with their feelings. They are also incarnations of Princess Serenity and King Endymion. Mamoru breaks up with Usagi in order to protect her however, once they get back together they are an even stronger couple. Throughout the series we see how much they truly love and care about each other. In the end, Mamoru keeps his promise and they marry.

Banri Tada + Koko Kaga (Golden Time)- This is by one of the best romantic comedy anime I've seen. There are some different opinions on this couple but I put them here because I love these two as a couple. Banri and Koko hit it off pretty early in Golden Time. Of course there are conflicts as well. I know some people preferred for Banri to end up with Linda but the lesson in Golden Time is that childhood friends don't always end up together.

Underrated Couples

Nasa Yuzaki + Tsukasa Yuzaki (Tonikaku Kawaii/Tonkikawa: Over the Moon for You)- A pretty recent anime to come out and while it's not quite a top notch masterpiece, it still has its charm. After Nasa is saved by Tsukasa from being hit by a truck, he immediately falls for her. When Nasa confesses his love, Tsukasa accepts as long as they get married. Then we see their new life together as a married couple.

Amane Fujimiya + Mahiru Shiina (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten/Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken)- I really liked this anime. Amane lives next door the the most popular girl Mahiru but hasn't talked to her until one day he helps her out. Their relationship progresses throughout the story and we see they clearly reciprocate feelings for each other.

Athanasia de Alger Obelia + Lucas (Who Made Me a Princess/Mofa gongzhu de xiao fannao)- -I've seen previews and clips of this anime and I don't know much yet. Fans are really hoping for something to happen between them.

Ryuuto Kashima + Runa Shirakawa (Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi/Our Dating story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me)- I really loved this anime and I'm hoping more of it comes out because I want to see more of Ryuto and Runa. Ryuto has to confess to Runa, the most popular girl in school, as a result of losing a game. To his surprise Runa happily accepts and they start going out. I love that its between a shy boy and a popular girl which kind of gives shy guys like me hope. Despite Runa's social status, she does not care that Ryuto is not a dream 'prince' and loves and accepts him for the way he is.  I admit I love these two kind of because Ryuuto looks like me and is also a shy guy too and Runa is such a beautiful girl who reminds me of a someone who I'd love to be with. I really hope we get more of this anime and can see Ryuto and Runa take their relationship to the next level.

My Story

Takeshi Hachuu + Annabelle "Angel" Ahrimo- Takeshi is the main character so these two are the OTP of the anime. Takeshi is a 16 year old reptile/snake yokai who is mostly introverted, mature, smart, selfless, strong-willed, and protective (A combination of Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games and Robin from Teen Titans) and Angel is a 18 year old cat yokai who is very kind, friendly, sweet, selfless, intelligent, and popular in school. Angel makes friends with Takeshi as she feels sorry for him seeing him alone. Takeshi and Angel share their secrets and feelings for one another despite that Reptiles and Cats are supposed to be enemies. Both come to terms with how to accept their identies and fate. Takeshi had suffered the death of his father and years of discrimination while Angel always thought she was the only one. They show how much they deeply and truly care about each other and are always there for one another throughout the story. Angel is willing to stand up for Takeshi and is really supportive of him. Both cannot bear to see the other one sad or hurt. To Angel Takeshi's happiness is her happiness and to Takeshi, Angel's happiness is his happiness. Takeshi is not afraid to to protect Angel or anyone else he loves even if it means the cost his own life. Takeshi comes to terms and realizes it's the first time since his father's death that he hasn't felt sad, lonely, or depressed and is happy and stronger with Angel by his side. With every challenge and obstacle they face, Takeshi and Angel only get stronger together. Takeshi strives to fulfill his father's dying wish and Angel helps him every step of the way.

Taro Hachuu + Nina Moriko- While Takeshi and Angel are the OTP, Taro and Nina are a very close second. Taro, age 14, younger brother of Takeshi who is also a reptilian/snake yokai. He is initally short-tempered and vengeful. Nina, age 14, is Taro's childhood friend and a owl yokai of Russian and Japanese decent and is spunky and vein, yet caring as well. And yes she is a tsundere too! They stay by each others side despite that Reptiles and Owls are supposed to be enemies. At first, they argue a lot and try to hide their feelings but realize how much they really mean to each other and need each other and care about one another. Nina has suffered the loss of both her parents and Taro suffered through the death of his father. Both want to fulfill what their parents wishes and realize that they are no longer sad, lonely, or depressed, and are happy and stronger by each other's side. Much like many couples, Taro and Nina cannot bear to see the other one hurt or sad and are brought joy by the other's happiness. They face many obstacles and challenges in their relationship but always come out stronger than before.

So that's a rap on my late valentines day post so here something to sum up my love life.

My Story: Trapped in a Blizzard

So I'll be posting more from My Story. Here they gang is caught in a blizzard

Opening

There is a warning that blizzard will be coming soon. Takeshi and Taro shapen up on their marksmanship and martial arts as they won't be able to rely on their obake powers.

Summary

Meanwhile Kyofusho and his gang decide they will take advantage during the blizzard knowing that Takeshi and Taro will be unable to use their powers. They come up with a plan.

As they get out of school early, Angel goes home with the gang and plans to spend the night at Nina's house. However, the storm comes and the gang are trapped in the blizzard. Takeshi and Taro use their survival skills to create a plan how to find their way back. However, Myou has already setup fake trails for them to follow. Sova goes to look for them and finds them to stay with the gang during the night.

The gang are ambused by Kyofusho and his allies. As Sova goes to protect Nina and her friends, Takeshi and Taro get out their weapons and a battle ensues. Together with Angel and Nina they manage to drive them off but not before getting a scroll stolen.

Ending

Taro is upset about the theft but Takeshi reminds him they are lucky to escape. They arrive home to the relief of a worried Ren and Nina's Grandmother. The Storm clears up and Angel says goodbye and heads back to her apartment.

Overview

So my life's been pretty busy but I will try my best to continue to post. Next month is February which means you all know what that means.

December End of the Year Post

I've been very busy with family and life so unfortunately I haven't had time to work on My Story. So This will be my last post for the year.

My Story: The Typhoon

Ok so I am going to post more to My Story as usual. Life has been pretty busy lately but I will still try to post.

Opening

A typhoon is coming soon and the gang must hunker down and prepare for what's coming. They plan to see each other once they ride out the storm.

Summary

The gang along with Masami gather at the Hachuu's house. Ren then tells them the story of the last typhoon they faced when Fahru was alive. They learn how to prepare for the storm from Ren and begin to gather supplies. Takeshi and Taro help reinforce their and Nina's houses. Angel arrives back at her apartment and finds workers fortifying the building. She receives instructions about how to handle the storm.

The typhoon comes in and everyone is riding it out in their residence. As the storm rattles the area, Takeshi and Taro reflect on their pasts and how they became who they are. Angel looks through her memories while Nina listens to her grandmother tell her stories of her childhood.

Ending

After the storm the gang see the fallen trees and rubble left. They begin clearing things out while Takeshi and Taro help Ren remove a tree.

Overview

So this has been a pretty short story so I didn't really put much into it. Life has been kind of hectic for me lately but I will try to continue to post. Stay tuned for my next post.

Fall 2025 Update

Once again I forgot to post for the month of September and these past few months have been very hectic for me. I will make the announcement that I'm not dead yet and hope to post again so this will count as both September and October's posts. Sorry I didn't post much.

My Story: Stranded with No Way Out

So back to My Story and my post for August. Here our heroes find themselves in a sticky situation.

Opening

The gang decide to head towards a cave where they believe a piece of a scroll is hiding. Sova stays out front to guard the entrance.

Summary

As Sova is guarding the entrance to the cave, a gang of thieves arrive and capture him. Sova attempts to fight back even hurting some of the thieves. Meanwhile in the cave a cave-in happens and they gang try to get out as soon as they can. They come out the entrance to find Sova gone. Nina says one of them should've stayed outside with Sova but Taro says it might've not made a difference as they'd have to take on multiple thieves. The group set out on a trek to find Sova.

Meanwhile Ren, Angel's family, and Grandmother Moriko become worried as Takeshi, Taro, Angel, and Nina have been gone so long and haven't returned. The work togther to begin searching for them. Two days later, in the woods the gang encounter one of the thieves. Taro being highly suspicious, holds a knife to his throat and demands to know where the other thieves are. After being led to the gang of thieves, a huge fight ensues. Nina secretly finds Sova and frees him.

Ending

Sova comes in and ends the fight creating strong wind with his wings. The gang then flee and return home to reunite with their families.

Overview

So there's another part of My Story. I've had less time to work on my blog but will try to continue to post.

My Story: The Typhoon

So here's another post from My Story. while our characters have been on a lot of adventures, now a natural phenomena will shake things up.

Opening

A typhoon is predicted to come soon and the gang must prepare and reinforce their homes and possessions.

Summary

Taro gathers a meeting with Taro, Angel, and Nina telling everyone that the typhoon will affect everyone. Angel worries about her family as well as her friends but her dad is already prepared. However Angel worries about her friends as they are not as wealthy and don't have as sturdy homes. Takeshi tells her not to worry as he's been through this before and they have an underground shelter.

The next day there is a report the typhoon will hit later that night. While Angel hunkers down with her family the others get prepared as well. Takeshi, Taro, Nina, Ren, and Nina's grandmother along with Sova take shelter in their underground bunker. As the typhoon hits, Angel comforts her siblings and tells them everything will be okay. Taro comforts Nina as she becomes scared much to both of their embarrassment.

Ending

The next day the storm is over but there are many trees fallen over and some damage. Takeshi and Taro their mother Ren clear out their yard when Angel shows up to help her. They go over to Nina's to help her Sova and her grandmother clear out their yard and repair some damage.

Overview

So things have been kind of been busy for me so I just had to post a short story. Will try to continue posting.

My Story: Angel's Leave

So this month has been pretty hectic for me so unfortunately I didn't post anything for May. But anyway more from My Story. Here Angel will be absent while on vacation with her family. How will the rest of the gang handle it without her emotional support?

Opening

Angel tells the others that her family are going to America for a while to visit relatives. She gives Takeshi a kiss and says while she will miss him she will return.

Summary

Takeshi tells Taro and Nina that they'll have to figure out how to work around not having Angel with them. The next day there is an awkward absence with Angel gone. That night as they meet up they hear Angel's voice, while Takeshi gets an uneasy feeling he knows it's Imposters trying to lure him into a trap. However, the group try to find them to defeat them. Takeshi struggles and misses when he tries to shoot his spears, unusual for him as he is very accurate. Taro, Nina, and Sova manage to drive them away but not without losing a gem.

The next day, Takeshi reveals that he just doesn't feel the same without Angel. Taro says that the bond they've developed made them stronger and he feels the same way with Nina. Takeshi and Taro continue practicing their marksmanship in their backyard.

During a battle the next day Takeshi manages to defeat an unkown demon in a fight with help from Taro, Nina, and Sova. Taro congradulates him saying their father would've been proud.

Ending

Angel returns and she and Takeshi hug and kiss. Angel then shares her experience in the states with the others.

My Conslusion

So there's my post. I will be trying to keep posting as much as I can but life has been hectic for me lately.

My Story: Eclipse

Okay So I've sidetracked in March and forgot to post something for March. So will tell another exerpt from My Story that will be both my March/April post.

Opening

An upcoming solar eclipse is coming. Angel is fascinated and looking forward to it. However, during this night both Obakes and Demons will temporarily be powerless.

Summary

Angel is looking forward to the Solar Eclipse as she has always wanted to see one. Takeshi wants to have a good experience with his girlfriend but also knows that many Obakes and Demons might take advatange of this time while everyone is powerless. Taro and Nina are also aware of this. Takeshi and Taro touch up on their martial arts skills and marksmanship as that will give them an edge when they are unable to use their powers.

Later, Takeshi, Taro, Angel, and Nina along with Masami gather on a hillside to watch the eclipse but they are wary of who may be watching them. As they eclipse happens they spot members from the anti-Obake group, International Justice for Humanity. They want to take advantage of when the obakes are powerless. Takeshi and Taro take stance. A fight breaks out between them. The gang manage to drive them off manage to drive them off but not without Takeshi and Taro sustainin injury.

Ending

As Takeshi and Taro have their wounds treated. Takeshi apologizes to Angel that the eclipse was ruined but she says it wasn't and shows she has footage that she can remember from it.

Conclusion

So that's the chapter/episode. I usually do try my best to post every month but I miss a post now and then. Stay tuned for my next post.

Valentines Day 2025

Well it's that special time of year again, well for those who are couples and not me. It's Valetines Day (V-Day)! So I will post my lists of couples: worst, average, best, underrated, should've been couples, and couples from My Story. And feel free to ship the couples from My Story they will be unsinkable (well mostly). I want them to have the greatest love stories of all time, the exact opposite of Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey. What makes a good couple

How good a couple is mostly depends on their lovability and chemistry together. How far they'll go for one another and how much they care about each other. Generally, I prefer couples who are the same age minus or plus a year or two. But I think it's cool to date older women (NOT COUGARS) so I kind of like to see that in anime.

Worst Couples (get the worst outta the way first)-While these aren't anime I'd say they're by far the best example of terrible love stories.

Jennifer + Scott Petkov-Jennifer made of of a 7-year-old girl dying from Huntington's disease online. All over not being invited to a party (Stupid reason). Her husband Scott is nearly as bad. Just look these two up and they're probably the ugliest couple here.

Amy + Sammy Bougzaglo (Amy's Baking Company)-Just watch Kitchen Nightmares and you'll know. Amy's a crazy b*** who's logic is I'm always right and everyone else is wrong. Her husband Samy looks like he could be her father or grandpa. Two rude resturaunt owners who treat everyone like s***.

Edward Cullen + Bella Swan (Twilight)-Probably the most hated love story and my favorite meme came from them ("Still a better love story than Twilight"). Christina Perri's song "A Thousand Years" is the only good thing that came from this series.

Ana Steele + Christian Grey (50 Shades of Grey)-One of the few love stories that can give Twilight a run for its money. Twilight's considered the worst possible love story but this one's just as bad.

Okay/Average/Polarizing Couples

Sesshomaru + Rin (Inuyasha)-Finding out these two had a kid kind of makes me sick given the age difference.

Kirito/Kazuto Kirigaya + Asuna Yuuki (Sword Art Online)-People seem to either love or hate SAO and I'm kind of in between. Asuna is a neo-tsundere but she does change quickly. It doesn't take long for Kirito and Asuna to become a couple.

Saito Hiraga + Louise Francoise Le Blanc de La Valliere (The Familiar of Zero/Zero no Tsukaima)-There's lots of mixed thoughts about Saito and Louise. Louise starts off mean, rude, and even abusive towards Saito but shows feelings for him. Saito doesn't exactly like the situation either but warms up to Louise. We see Louise's true feelings when Saito dies but is resurrected and they end up getting married in the end.

Naruto Couples- The series has pretty resolved itself by now. If anyone thought love triangles were complicated, try explaining the beginning of this one. (Except for Ranma 1/2) Naruto likes Sakura but Sakura likes Sasuke who doesn't like Sakura in return, at first. Hinata has feelings for Naruto but initially he sees her as just a friend. Things turn around for good as Naruto returns his feelings for Hinata and they get married. The same happens for Sasuke and Sakura.

Most Popular/Best Couples

Sakura Kinomoto + Syaoran Li (Cardcaptor Sakura)(Clear Card)-Once again, in no way could I ever make a V-Day couples list and not include these two. Sakura and Syaoran are probably the most adorable couple and I and most people can't get enough of them. They start of rivals but warm up to each other. Syaoran gets the courage to confess to Sakura who then returns her feelings. Recently CLAMP writer Nanase Ohkawa kind of hinted about Sakura and Syaoran getting married but said everyone should imagine it in their own hearts but did not say the story was over after Clear Card.

Sakura + Syaoran (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles)-Of course I had to include these two especially since including Cardcaptor Sakura. Sakura and Syaoran are childhood friends but then Sakura loses her memories. Syaoran goes on a mission to retrieve Sakura's memories and they fall in love. Sakura and Syaoran care for each other and will go out of their way for one another. I liked this anime but I kind of wanted more with the ending. I know CLAMP knows how to write better endings so these two better get married, make it happen CLAMP!

Kobato Hanato + Kiyokazu Fujimoto (Kobato)-Another great story by CLAMP. Like most CLAMP stories it starts off being kind of cute, innocent, and funny but becomes very emotional and heartfelt towards the end, which are some of the best times of anime to watch. While Fujimoto initally acts like he doesn't like Kobato at first, he warms up to her and starts to care about her. Kobato's kindness and soft feelings don't change and she begins to show feelings for Fujimoto as well. The great ending truly packed an emotional punch.

Inuyasha + Kagome Higurashi (Inuyasha)-I do not think anyone would ever forgive me if I did not include these two on an anime couples list. While they don't get along at first, they develop romantic feelings for each other. Inuyasha and Kagome will go to the ends of the earth for the other. There are some conflicting ideas of Kagome vs Kikyo. I support Inuyasha and Kagome, but most of the main characters would be dead if it weren't for Kikyo.

Usagi Tsukino + Mamoru Chiba (Sailor Moon) (Crystal)-Here's another couple that no one would forgive me if I didn't include them. Sailor Moon is the most popular magical girl anime. While Usagi and Mamoru don't like each other at first they do warm up to each other. They are the incarnations of Princess Serenity and King Endymion. They break up but then get back together as a stronger couple and we see how much they love and care about each other. To top it off Usagi and Mamoru get married.

Banri Tada + Koko Kaga (Golden Time)-Golden Time is one the best romantic comedy anime I've reviewed. While some people have different opinions, I love Banri with Koko. I know some people wanted Banri to end up with Linda but the lesson in Golden Time is that childhood friends don't always end up together and you may meet someone who you like better.

Underrated Couples

Nasa Yuzaki + Tsukasa Yuzaki (Tonikaku Kawaii/Tonkikawa: Over the Moon for You)-This anime isn't exactly a masterpiece but it is still enjoyable. Tsukasa saves Nasa from being hit by a truck he immediately falls in love with her. Tsukasa accepts his confession under the condition they get married. As they spend time together as a married couple their bond grows stronger.

Sumomo Akihime + Masaharu Tsuwabuki (Nanatsuiro Drops)-This is such an underrated magical girl anime. Masaharu accidentally drinks a magic potion which turns him into a stuffed lamb at night. Fortunately, Sumomo is there to help him but she cannot know his identity or he'll become a stuffed lamb forever. Sumomo and Masaharu fall in love and are able to retain their bond no matter what is thrown their way.

Ryuji Kisaragi + Rose (Dragon Crisis!)-A very underrated fantasy anime. From the beginning Rose loves Ryuuji and is attached to him. Ryuuji will do anything to protect Rose and make sure she is happy. Ok well I admit, Ryuji looks like me and you know the rest. They are an adorable couple nontheless.

Athanasia de Alger Obelia + Lucas (Who Made Me a Princess/Mofa gongzhu de xiao fannao)-I've seen previews of this anime and I don't know much yet. Fans are really hoping for something to happen between them.

Amane Fujimiya + Mahiru Shiina (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten/Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken)-I really liked this anime. Amane lives next door the the most popular girl Mahiru but hasn't talked to her until one day he helps her out. Their relationship progresses throughout the story and we see they clearly reciprocate feelings for each other.

Ryuuto Kashima + Runa Shirakawa (Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi/Our Dating story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me)-I really loved this anime and I'm hoping more of it comes out because I want to see more of Ryuto and Runa. Ryuto has to confess to Runa, the most popular girl in school, as a result of losing a game. To his surprise Runa happily accepts and they start going out. I love that its between a shy boy and a popular girl which kind of gives shy guys like me hope. Despite Runa's social status, she does not care that Ryuto is not a dream 'prince' and loves and accepts him for the way he is.  I admit I love these two kind of because Ryuuto looks like me and is also a shy guy too and Runa is such a beautiful girl who reminds me of a someone who I'd love to be with. I really hope we get more of this anime and can see Ryuto and Runa take their relationship to the next level.

My Story

Here's the couples from My Story. If you ship them I promise you they will set sail and won't sink (Except both villains and Fahru die).

Takeshi Hachuu + Annabelle "Angel" Ahrimo- Takeshi is the main character so these two are the OTP of the anime. Takeshi is a 16 year old reptile/snake yokai who is mostly introverted, mature, smart, selfless, strong-willed, and protective (A combination of Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games and Robin from Teen Titans) and Angel is a 18 year old cat yokai who is very kind, friendly, sweet, selfless, intelligent, and popular in school. Angel makes friends with Takeshi as she feels sorry for him seeing him alone. Takeshi and Angel share their secrets and feelings for one another despite that Reptiles and Cats are supposed to be enemies. Both come to terms with how to accept their identies and fate. Takeshi had suffered the death of his father and years of discrimination while Angel always thought she was the only one. They show how much they deeply and truly care about each other and are always there for one another throughout the story. Angel is willing to stand up for Takeshi and is really supportive of him. Both cannot bear to see the other one sad or hurt. To Angel Takeshi's happiness is her happiness and to Takeshi, Angel's happiness is his happiness. Takeshi is not afraid to to protect Angel or anyone else he loves even if it means the cost his own life. Takeshi comes to terms and realizes it's the first time since his father's death that he hasn't felt sad, lonely, or depressed and is happy and stronger with Angel by his side. With every challenge and obstacle they face, Takeshi and Angel only get stronger together. Takeshi strives to fulfill his father's dying wish and Angel helps him every step of the way.

Taro Hachuu + Nina Moriko- While Takeshi and Angel are the OTP, Taro and Nina are a very close second. Taro, age 14, younger brother of Takeshi who is also a reptilian/snake yokai. He is initally short-tempered and vengeful. Nina, age 14, is Taro's childhood friend and a owl yokai of Russian and Japanese decent and is spunky and vein, yet caring as well. And yes she is a tsundere too! They stay by each others side despite that Reptiles and Owls are supposed to be enemies. At first, they argue a lot and try to hide their feelings but realize how much they really mean to each other and need each other and care about one another. Nina has suffered the loss of both her parents and Taro suffered through the death of his father. Both want to fulfill what their parents wishes and realize that they are no longer sad, lonely, or depressed, and are happy and stronger by each other's side. Much like many couples, Taro and Nina cannot bear to see the other one hurt or sad and are brought joy by the other's happiness. They face many obstacles and challenges in their relationship but always come out stronger than before.

Fahru Hachuu + Ren Hachuu- Ren and Fahru are the mother and father of Takeshi and Taro. Fahru is a reptilian/snake yoaki, while Ren is an ordinary human. These two are kind of star-crossed lovers. Their parents each accepted each other while society didn't. The fact that a reptilian and ordinary human are married was more reason they were targeted. Nevertheless they didn't care what others thought. They were deeply in love with each other and went to great lengths for one another and they started a family which made them stronger. Fahru was willing to risk anything for his family and finally lost his life protecting those he loved the most. Ren strives to fulfill her promise and Fahru's dying wish and continues to raise her two boys as a single mother well.

Conclusion

So that's a rap for this years V-Day post, I know I'm pretty much repeating myself but I haven't really had much time to watch anything new. Here's another photo to sum up my love life.
