My Story: Scorchio: Scorpion Boy

I'm back and now we're gonna add yet another chapter/episode to My Story. We'll introduce another character as well.

Opening

We see a swarm of scorpions crawling towards something in the woods. This thing is revealed to be Scorchio a scorpion human Obake/Therianthrope.

Summary

The next day Takeshi, Taro, Angel, and Nina arrive at school to find it infested with scorpions and everyone freaking out. Takeshi and Taro deal with the scorpions and know it might be a sign of another obake nearby who wants to take the gems and scrolls for themselves. During the night they decide to set out. Nina screams, being terrified by a swarm of scorpions which the gang then spot Scorchio and scorpion human. Scorchio introduces himself and says he's after the gems though is also determined on defeating Kyofusho one day. Scorchio and the gang agree to not become enemies as they already share a common enemy.

Ending

Takeshi offers Scorchio to join their group but Scorchio says he has to return to his hometown. They bid farewell to Scorchio and wonder if they'll see each other again.

Overview

I had to make this one short mainly because I've been kind of busy with a new summer job. I will be posting again next month.

My Story: Hawkwing The Traitor

Back to My Story and now a previous character returns, Hawkwing, Nina's former friend who now works for Kyofusho

Opening

After coming home from school Taro and Nina run into Hawkwing. Hawkwing says he can help them find more gems and approaches Nina. Taro angrily tells him they don't need his help.

Summary

Taro and Nina argue about if they can trust Hawkwing, Taro angrily leaves and goes home. Taro tells Takeshi about the encounter and Takeshi says while he understands Taro's anger and jealousy, he should approach the situation calmly and mature.

The next day Taro apologizes to Nina and Nina says she's accepts his apology. Nina asks Taro if he wants to go on a date. To his surprise Taro accepts. Later, Angel says she and Takeshi should go on double date with them. At a shopping area they four go around having fun and Angel comments on how it seems Taro and Nina are fighting less and showing their feelings for each other. The couples respectively share drinks.

Meanwhile, Hawkwing is conversing with Kyofusho and his allies on how to defeat Takeshi, Taro, Angel, and Nina. Kyufusho says they need to do it at the right time and in the right situation. They decide to use a false gem as bait

Taro and Nina are laying under the stars. Nina asks Taro if the death of his father is still affecting him. Taro says Fahru was a special dad and he will always miss him but has other loved ones who are still him . He asks Nina if she wishes her parents were still with her. Nina says she misses them but has her grandma and other loved ones still with her too. She adds one of them stands out more than the others. When Taro asks who, Nina says, "it's you" and "I love you." Taro surprised says, "Uh, I love you too." Nina leans in and gives Taro a kiss.

Ending

While the main four are looking through the woods with Hawkwing. Kyofusho and his gang suddenly attack. Hawkwing does not fight back and that's when Hawkwing and Kyofusho say they're allies. Taro and Nina are angry that Hawkwing betrayed them and what they've been through.

Overview

So now Hawkwings true colors are now revealed to our four main characters. What will this mean for Taro and Nina? Check back next month.

My Story: Ren and Fahru Part II.

More from My Story. So a couple months ago we get a flashback about Takeshi and Taro's mother Ren and her life with their father Fahru before they were born.

Opening

Ren picks up on her story and talks about what living with her new husband, Fahru was like. They both choose to live in the country due to their love for nature.

Summary

Ren and Fahru begin their life as a married couple. She's tells Takeshi, Taro, Angel, and Nina that these were some of the best times in her life. After they move into the country, Fahru teaches Ren how to hunt and how to survive in the wild. Together, their bond grows stronger as they live together. Eventually, Ren's family grows close to Fahru and Fahru's family becomes close to Ren as well. Later, Ren and Fahru decide to have a kid. Ren becomes pregnant with Takeshi. She gives birth at home in case he either hatched out of an egg or came out looking like a reptile. They decide to have another child and later announce to Takeshi that he will have a new little brother, Taro. Two years later, Ren gives birth to Taro also at home for the same reasons as Takeshi's birth.

Ending

Angel and Nina love Ren's story. Angel says she wishes she got to know Takeshi and Taro's father and Nina says she wishes should could've known him better. Takeshi, Taro, and Ren say that Fahru was a great husband and father and they want to fulfill his dying wish.

So we got to see more about what Ren and Fahru's life was like upon meeting each other to the birth of Takeshi and Taro.
