Summary
Steel Angel Kurmi takes place in Japan's Taisho Era (1912-1026). A scientist, Ayanokoji developed the Steel Angel - an artificial humanoid with superhuman physical abilities. The Imperial Army wants to use the Steel Angel as a new means of modern warfare, Ayanokoji wants his creation to be a new step for the future of mankind. Thus, he defied orders from the Army and secretly made the Steel Angel codenamed "Kurumi". One day, a young boy named Nakahito Kagura snuck into Ayanokoji's as a dare by his friends and stumbled upon Kurumi's lifeless body. The Imperial Army suddenly attacked which shook the house, causing Kurumi to call on Nakahito. Kurumi and Nakahito's lips met and Kurumi woke up from "the kiss that started a miracle".

My Thoughts
Most people seem to have mixed reviews about Steel Angel Kurumi. I actually enjoyed this show quite a bit and for some reason I like the name Kurumi. While it may seem kind of cheesy at first and can get somewhat bizarre at times it does get more serious towards the end and the ending is pretty good too.While I'm not a fan of bisexual anime, Steel Angel Kurumi is one of the exceptions. I do like older girl and younger boy romance to a degree Nakahito is 12, and Kurumi doesn't have an exact age but looks like she's at least a teenager, which means it may be almost kind of wrong but I can really judge that for sure. Okay my last thing is that for once, the older brother is not an arrogant for once and is actually a nice guy to his younger brother. I feel insulted whenever anime do this because I'm the oldest sibling in my household and in My Anime/Manga the brothers are close and supportive of one another. Ok I kind of got off track there!

My Conclusion
I would give Steel Angel Kurumi 4.5/5 stars or a 9/10 score. While that it is higher than what I saw most people give it, I really did like this show. Some similar anime which also involve robotic/android/humanoid girls are Mahoromatic (which I reviewed almost 2 years ago) and Chobits (which was better than I expected).
